And so to home

We're back again, in time to deal with Amazon's new recalcitrant delivery service. After the US most UK service will sound like bad grace for weeks to come.

But I'll not forget the excellent time we had, catching up with old friends and new games at Gen Con Indy, driving 1200 miles across to NYC and finally seeing some of why such fuss is made about the Big Apple. Sucky baseball teams, but just so much else to do.

We had pancakes and bacon for our last breakfast as is now traditional and failed yet again to get me an Oberon Design journal. The email with the store address arriving 20 minutes too late, and it was only 2 blocks from our hotel. Still, there's always next year.

Glad you made it back in one piece, what with the storms and all ...

A quick bout of what some lazy hack called "cyberslacking" tells me that OberonDesign.com have mail order and deliver in the USA (but not, apparently abroad), so we can probably help you out there, if you can live with just picking something online rather than fondling and sniffing the merchandise before you buy it.

That would be very kind of you. We had meant to ask you before but never got round to doing so.

We managed to miss most of the storms. We had rain on the first night but it was pretty clear after that. A good thing we didn't hang around in Indiana or Ohio really.

Indeed not -- I'm not sure that there's much to savour in Indiana anyway, but then my experience is limited to Indie and Gary. On the journal front, just tell us what you want, and we'll sort it out, although it will pain me if you order anything with the C-word in its title.
