MP3 goodness

If you want to listen to Hancock's Half Hour on your iPod or Phillip Marlowe whilst you browse my LJ, go to the Internet Archive and download some free old radio programs.

There are also some free audio books but Sherlock Holmes being read by an American is just weird. Mind you, if he sounded like the Voice of Vader maybe I'd be more forgiving.

Finally, there's also tons of live music but mainly by bands I've never seen or heard of, except perhaps Hayseed Dixie.

You don't have to download either, there's a streaming widget on each page.

Thanks for the links:)

But there's something wierd happening with your last link on this post, the 'hayseed' one.

Whenever I click on it from my journal or any version of my 'friends' page view it opens my full 'friends' page view. If I click on it from from your journal whether in 'comment' page or 'link' page it opens to a full view of your journal.

Oh, nicely done, Steve.
I foresee myself spending a lot of time listening to this. Mostly at work, probably.
