I didn't see Sea Cucumber on that list! They're awesome to prepare because they self-clean.

Aren't they rather tasteless? I'd heard it was all about texture. Mind you I tend to think that of most sushi too.

It was fried in butter, so that probably helped.

Have you had good sushi? It's one of the few foods for which I won't go cheap.

The only time I've had it was in Indianapolis at Gen Con. The only thing I liked was the smoked eel. Everything else was just vaguely fishy. But perhaps somewhere closer to the sea might be better.

I've had excellent sushi in Seattle and Hawaii, so yeah. I'd be afraid of it at somewhere like GenCon!
