Have Wick and Sorenson broken RPGnet

It seems to be down at the moment. Perhaps their April Fools' joke mutated into a php virus and took down the server, replacing every mention of D&D with My Little Pony.

Who knows?

We can only dream of that perfect world.
As numerous people have already said, and I'll say again, the "joke" that WotC perpetrated was a double-edged sword.

Such a game, marketed in the right way with a ruleset more friendly to their target audience, would probably be a real winner.

Ah well, will have to contend myself with middle-aged men squabbling over what little is left. April Fools in perpetuity, we lot.

;)

I have played a Care Bear roleplaying game with a five year old. I was Grumpy Bear and she didn't want me to come along, because I was too Grumpy. F33R MY L££T GRUMPY SK1ll5!

And I had a email notification of an PM...
..from a MOD.

Not sure what that means.

 ;-)

Anyway I started reading Momento-Mori's blog and ended up here. Makes me wonder if I should create a LJ account, so many interesting people!

Back to RPGnet: Do you think Skotos pulled the plug?

Seems like there's an explosion of interest in the subject in the LJ community. Maybe everyone linking to the site made it crash?

Peace,

I'm with JD below. It keeps going down fine with no Skotos intervention. To think that they would take it down seems wrong somehow. I suspect that they couldn't stop it if it wanted to, it's actually just a mass of wiring plugged into Cessna's brain, and only stops when his mum gets him to take the trash out.

Rpg.net often goes down so I doubt it is anything to be concerned about. Damned annoying, though, as I spend a lot of time during the day browsing the place.
