Whimsy Failure - Send in the Toves

According to a poll, 18% of Brits think a haggis is a highland animal, 15% think it's a musical instrument and 4% think it's from Harry Potter. I imagine that this is more a measure of the whimsical nature of the respondents, apart from the 4% who thought they were being funny.

33% whimsy is not bad but I think a visual diet of Clangers and Carroll might be required.

I allway thought I could make money from tourists selling them places for the Haggis shoots. Seems like it's still feasible.

I'm pretty sure they are animals. I saw them running about the Scottish highlands.

I'm putting one in my next Cthulhu adventure. A giant haggis. It'll be great.

Iirc haggises as creatures feature in the great Eric Thompson's Dougal's Scottish Holiday. Although I'm sure there must be antecedents.
