Cold Count 6&7

I got my test results back and things seem to be getting better on their own now. My chest pain is a sprained rib as a result of coughing.

I've not been reading so much, what with all the coughing, but I did buy some interesting books this week, an early Panther pb of the Case of Charles Dexter Ward, Cold Print by Ramsey Campbell and, finally, A Night in the Lonesome October by Zelazny, from Canada. So it's going to be a week of lovecraftiness.

Ouch. My wife came down with the same thing a while back. It took them about 4 months to track down what it was after running a battery of tests. Her white cell counts were really high at the time so they did a lot more testing looking for other things that were much worse. Glad you're feeling better.

Ouch again. Sorry you've had this so long.

Anecdote corner: I once had a visitor who was sitting near to my bookcase, glanced down and just saw the word "lovecraft" in large letters on several volumes, and needed a rapid explanation.

I been mostly reading that too. Fake 18th century letters can be a little irritating.
