Be careful what you wish for

Only yesterday, I bedrudged mlvwrites her snow, and today, here it is. It's mainly sleet actually, and it won't stick, but I can't remember the last time we had snow in October, and it was t-shirt weather at the weekend.

Almost as weird as wandering around DC at midnight in 25C heat in easly November only a few short years ago for anubisgrrl and davidt3001's wedding. Some wishes do turn out well.

I like the idea of bedrudging something. Does it involve wishing that it was drudgery?

No, it's bed Rudgery, wishing you were sleeping in the West Midlands

Surley it's a coruption of that victorian allusion to the easy pastime of copulating with simple-minded folk?

From that Dickensian qoute:
"I'll go bed Rudge".

IE: To 'Be Rudging'.
