Tea-drinker par excellence

Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs

It's a pretty grand title, redolent of Empire, stiff upper lips and men in wood panelled rooms. Fittingly they are based in Somerset House, an 18th century palace on the Strand just down from where I work now. Somerset House is a labyrinthine warren of low corridors with strange nooks, a snooker room, relics of old custom's practices such as pistols hanging on the walls and a complete lack of a/c. It also hosts concerts in the courtyard each summer, providing a free spectacle for staff.

Anyway, I've got an interview on the 3rd.
