Tea-drinker par excellence

Dark here isn't it

We have reactive lighting in our new work area. It reacts to ambient light levels and adjust accordingly. Cleverly, the sensor is right next to the window so for those of us who sit near a wall, far from a window, when the light level goes up outside, our lights go off, leaving us in the dark. Apparently this is because our lights have been classified as "boundary lights", the same as those next to a window.

The problem has been solved by the high tech fit of putting a piece of black tape over the sensor.
