Tea-drinker par excellence

Is this a good thing or a bad thing, or just a thing?

More 4e chat, I'm afraid.

I just popped over to the 4e forum (called, without a hint of irony, gleemax.com). There's a wonderfully abtruse and mathematical discussion about whether wizards do enough damage at any level to be any use. I marvel at the fact that the Monster Manual has been out three days and already we know the average saves and hit points for monsters every five levels (although not having read the books this might even be given).

The importance of MMORPGs is very much in evidence, the language has been imported wholesale and now overlies the game. Whilst this means that I have very little interest in it (apart from the maths which always interests me), I do see that it might attract more of the computer gaming crowd and 14 year old boys of all ages back into the hobby. And one day, they might discover the games that interest me.
