The Instellar Theory of Trade is a paper that was written 30 years ago by this year's Economics Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman about how interest rates are affected by time dilation.

And yesterday he wrote a piece in the NY Times praising Brown and Darling's handling of the current financial crisis. Do vaguely left-leaning economists often win this prize?
