Georges Bataille, pulp hero.

Our homework for this week is to write an inciting incident. That is, the thing that happens near the start of the novel that creates the drama, be it the chest-burster in Alien or the reading of the letter in Atonement. Obviously as a roleplaying scenario writer of long-standing, I've done this more times than most succesful novelists have been published. So instead of coming up with something new, I thought I'd turn one of my adventures into fiction. I'm going with the intro to Acephalous, a tale of morbid desire in 30s Paris. I'll post it here soon.
