One more game of Trail Of Cthulhu and that was Indiecon. Not a bad way to spend a weekend.

Sounds good. You mentioned chalets - are you in Butlins or the Swiss Alps?

New Milton on the Hampshire/Dorset coast. Not bad really, 4 bedrooms two bathrooms and quite a decent kitchen with a dishwasher, although no towels for some reason. We cooked too, 16 full English breakfasts, 13 suppers (pasta, beef stew and fish tacos) and 10 lunches (sarnies) all for just over £100. No bar food for us. I played all but three of eight games in our chalet and two of those were in other chalets - much less noisy than the main hall and with tea on tap.

Cool. Sounds like you had a great time. What was your favourite game?

That's quite hard to say because they were all pretty good. I'd say Montsegur in tied second place with Rock of Tahamaat - both started off a bit slowly and we weren't sure whether they would work. First has to be Shock. After the 35 minutes or so of world/character creation one of the players said, 'That was so good it seems a shame to spoil it by playing it' but it actually got better. I have the sheets so I might try to piece together an AP.
